Privacy Policy for Star Dash

This Privacy Policy explains how Star Dash ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. Star Dash is developed by Hobby App Box.

1. Data We Collect Directly

Star Dash does not require an account, login, or sign-in of any kind. Your in-game progress — coins, credits, best score, and unlocked ships — is saved locally on your device only. We do not operate a server, and this data is never transmitted to us or to any third party. It is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app or clear its data in your device settings.

2. Advertising

Star Dash displays ads and offers optional rewarded ads (e.g. to continue a run or double your score) through Google AdMob. To serve and measure these ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share the following on our behalf:

• Advertising ID and other device identifiers — used for ad delivery, personalization, and fraud prevention.
• Approximate location (derived from IP address) — used for ad targeting and legal/regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR region detection).
• App interaction data (e.g. app launches, taps, ad views) — used for advertising and analytics.
• Diagnostic and performance data (e.g. app launch time, crashes) — used for analytics and fraud/security purposes.

This data is collected by Google, not by us directly, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Depending on your region, you may be shown a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) allowing you to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads before any ad is shown. You can also reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time via your device's system settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, on Android).

3. Children's Privacy

Star Dash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our own servers, there is no account data for us to retain or delete. Your locally saved progress can be removed at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. For data collected by Google AdMob, see Google's own privacy controls and policies linked above.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
